The best way to start ending loneliness is by getting involved. Here are some ways you can start getting connected.

Check out our upcoming events for ways you can connect with others in our community!

Community Groups

Community Groups are small groups of Christians and seekers that meet in homes and apartments during the week. Through Bible Study, prayer, and mutual support people are encouraged and empowered for God’s mission. Currently, there is a Redmond group (contact Jim), a Northend group (contact Erik) an online group (contact Jason), and a Young Adults group (contact Emily).

Ministry Teams

Redeemer is a co-op church. Every member serves on a team using their passions, experiences, and gifts to build up the community and administer the grace of Christ.

Creation and
Cultural Treks

Every month congregation members and their friends take a trek to either a beautiful place in God’s creation or to a cultural monument like an art museum. The goal is to enjoy creation and culture and to deepen our friendships. Here’s a peak into one trek. We have a WhatsApp group you can join if you would like to participate in one of our hikes, or contact John for more info.

Young Adults

Our young adults gather regularly for Bible study and other activities. They enjoy sharing meals together, encouraging each other in their journey of faith, and supporting each other in their individual callings. Contact David Ulloa for more info.

Women meeting

Women’s Ministry

Redeemer’s women stay connected in several ways. Join our WhatsApp group, where we share praises and prayer requests. There is also a book study group, a Facebook group, and we have occasional mini-retreats. Reach out to Jenny for more information.

Men’s Ministry

Redeemer’s men gather weekly to discuss Scripture, to support each other, and to pray for each other. These gatherings are open to all men and happen every week on Wednesdays at 6:30 AM. We meet quarterly for a pancake breakfast and take an annual retreat to Plain, WA. Here’s a video from 2019. Contact Jason for more info.

Discovering Redeemer

Join Pastor Jason and his wife Jenny Dorsey at the Discovering Redeemer class, which is offered quarterly for newcomers. The class takes place on Friday (dinner & discussion) and Saturday (brunch and discussion) at the Dorsey home. Get answers to common questions about what it means to be a believer in Christ, to be a part of a Presbyterian Church (PCA), and to be a member of Redeemer in particular.

Mission Trips

We take teams on short-term missions trip each year. The purpose of these trips are to learn from and to love and serve our neighbors, to do justice and mercy, and to weave the social fabric where it is frayed and broken. Here’s a video from our 2023 trip to Sacred Road on the Yakama reservation.

Feasts

Sharing a meal is a powerful witness to our joy in God’s salvation and the welcome of the family of God. We celebrate many feasts including a covenant renewal dinner, Easter brunch, a church picnic, a chili feed, and a pie competition. In all our feasts we invite our friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues to join us. Check our calendar for upcoming feasts, or reach out to our hospitality coordinator, Dismas, for more information.
