There are times throughout our life when we need help. One of the most important skills we can learn is to ask for help. As a church, Redeemer is honored that you would turn to us for help. We believe that Jesus Christ is the hope of the world and we are glad to help you in the following ways: through spiritual care, counseling scholarships, and hospitality.

There are times in our life where we may feel lonely, or without purpose, we doubt the existence of God, we struggle with personal or relational brokenness, we’re chained by addiction, or we simply long for connection to community. During these times, we may be open to spiritual reality in a new way. Redeemer offers five sessions of free pastoral coaching to all, believer or unbeliever, seeker or sceptic. To request pastoral counseling contact pastor@redeemerredmond.org.

Spiritual Care

Redeemer Church greatly appreciates the role and value of trained professional counselors, and we encourage Redeemer members and non-members to consider using such services, when needed. To make this available to everyone, the Deacons have established a Redeemer Counseling Fund for members needing assistance with counseling expenses.

Hospitality

Our greatest need is to belong and to be loved, to be loved by God and to be welcomed into the loving community of his people. Louisa May Alcott said that the two most beautiful words in the English language are “come in.” Redeemer offers welcome and hospitality to all on Sunday morning, and throughout the weeks in our homes and apartments. We believe that the greatest thing we can give you is relationship: with God and with the diverse community that is his spiritual family. We are thrilled to welcome you into the hospitality of God Himself.

We welcome our neighbors to join into the life of our community, whether that is with a Sunday "Pitch In" Supper, an outdoor hike or other recreational event, a retreat, or a special feast. Check out our event page to find an event that might interest you.

Searching for God

The most important questions for us to answer are "Is there a God?" and "How can I have a relationship with God?" Christians believe that God is personal, and that we can have a relationship with him through His son Jesus Christ. If you are searching for God—or just searching—you may want to listen to these stories of how members of our congregation encountered (or were encountered by) and were changed by the Living God.
